Counselling offers a safe and confidential environment to talk through challenges and problems.

What is Counselling?

Counselling offers a safe and confidential environment to talk through challenges and problems.  People seek counselling for many different reasons at many different times in their life.  Focusing on the past and the present, counselling can prove to be enormously helpful to people from all walks of life to help work through and overcome some of the challenges they currently face.

Our counsellors provide a range of different theories including CBT (behavioural), Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches, among others to best suit the client and their individual needs.

How can Counselling help?

Working under the guidance of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy Amber Therapy Services works closely with the client in addressing concerns and encouragement for personal growth.

What our clients say...

"Being in the public eye can heighten anxiety because you put pressure on yourself to be what you think people want you to be at times. When I was struggling, I had to do some soul searching and figure out what was going with my mental health. Thank you for providing me a safe and non judgmental space to talk”

James ArthurSinger & Musician

"I had a huge amount of work stress. My counsellor made me feel comforted and safe, this went a long way helping me to re-evaluate my situation"
